1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
A great way to get those new or not-quite-yet readers started and keep going! Join the Library's 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program and receive a starter pack and reading log.  For each 50 books read by the parent/guardian or the child (and reading log returned), your child will get to choose a prize, move their chosen animal through the Reading Forest onto the next numbered tree, take a picture in our woodland selfie station, and be entered to win the monthly prize drawing!  But wait - there's more...once your young reader reaches 1,000 books read, we'll throw a party - just for them! With unique themes and prizes, this party is sure to be a blast and a great way to celebrate reading 1,000 books before kindergarten.

Stop on in the Library today to talk with our Youth Services Librarian and sign your child up today!
