Menominee Clans Story website
Developed by the University of Stevens Point, this site is a great resource to look at further information on Menominee Clans, history, and more.

  • The Moose Clan are the People of the Wild Rice.  The Moose primary clan are also the Harvesters.  To find out more about this clan's responsibilities and the importance of wild rice, check out their story here.
  • One of the Younger Brothers of the Moose was the Raccoon, whose job was the dancer, the huller of the rice.  Check out their story here.
